The next generation of Capital Region performers takes on the world's most iconic musical.
The Jellicle cats gather once a year under the Jellicle moon to make the Jellicle choice: which cat will be reborn into a new life? Next August, the next generation of Capital Region performers takes on a 60 minute adaptation of one of the most iconic musicals of all time — Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats, reimagined for young artists and bursting with the songs the whole world knows. It's a celebration of memory, transformation, and second chances (told entirely by cats, naturally), and it's the perfect showcase for the students who train year-round at Playhouse Stage Academy. The future of this company is on that stage. Come meet them.
