Honoring Herb & Annmarie ellis with the playhouse Shining Star Award in honor of their nearly four decades of generosity and stewardship for the free theatre program in albany!

Join us for a delightful and delicious country-themed evening at Park Playhouse in Washington Park, with all proceeds benefiting our free theatre and arts education programming. Guests will enjoy a 6pm pre-show reception inside the newly upgraded Lakehouse, with food and drink from some of our Capital City’s best culinary talents, with a live bluegrass band, and performances by our incredible students! Gala Guests will then be escorted to premium table seats in the theatre, and treated to a picnic basket of scrumptious goodies to enjoy during the 7:30pm performance of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! Dessert will be served to guests at their seats during intermission!

Dress Code is summer casual - country-western flair is optional!
